Davis, due to an ankle injury, will not suit up for Buffalo’s Monday night matchup vs the Tennessee Titans.
The Bills, looking to run their record to 2-0, will be without one of their key wide receivers.
Davis, dealing with an ankle sprain, landed on the injury report Saturday and was listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Titans. With a short week of prep for week 3, this Sunday at the Miami Dolphins, the logic appears to be having Davis rest the ankle now instead of risking further injury.
The Bills have depth at the wide receiver position. Expect for Isaiah Mckenzie and Jamison Crowder to receive increased snaps. Furthermore, 22-year old rookie Kalil Shakir is active.
Keep an eye on Shakir, the fifth-round draft pick opened eyes with a strong summer to make the roster.
