Free agent forward Blake Griffin has agreed to a deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
Griffin’s agent, Sam Goldfeder of Excel Basketball, confirmed the news with ESPN NBA Insider, Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 31-year old recently agreed to a contract buyout with the Detroit Pistons. While a number of teams were interested, the six-time All-Star decided to bring his talents to Brooklyn.
Griffin’s alignment with the Nets positions him to pursue an NBA Championship with the team’s All-Star core of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.
