The New York Giants are now 2-0 for the first time since 2016.
In a see-saw battle, the Giants edged the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, 19-16, at MetLife Stadium. Graham Gano sealed it for Big Blue with a 56-yard field goal with 3:34 left to play.
Gano was in a zone today against his former team going 4 for 4 on field goals, including a 51-yarder.
The defense for the Giants stepped up to snuff out any remaining hope for Carolina (0-2) when Julian Love sacked quarterback Baker Mayfield on third-and-5 to force a punt with 2:06 to play. From there, the Giants were able to run out the clock.
