The Giants agreed to terms with No. 5 overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux and No. 7 pick Evan Neal, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.
Per Spotrac, Thibodeaux’s rookie deal is projected to be worth $31.339 million with a $19.97 million signing bonus. That would count $5.7 million against the cap in 2022.
Neal’s projected deal is worth $24.55 million over four years with a $15.04 million signing bonus. Both deals include a fifth-year option. Official contract terms, including guaranteed money, are not yet known as multiple reports continue to come in.
To help with signing their draft class, the Giants needed to create salary cap flexibility earlier this week with the release of cornerback James Bradberry.
Earlier this week, the Giants signed four of their other 11 draft picks to standard four-year deals — offensive lineman Marcus McKethan ($3.93 million), linebacker Micah McFadden ($4.015 million), defensive lineman D.J. Davidson ($4.014 million) and linebacker Darrian Beavers ($3.86 million).
