The Jets and Josh Adams are running it back for 2021.
The 6-2, 225-pound running back re-signed with the team this week. Adams now back in the mix, the Jets have four running backs on the roster. He’ll join La’Mical Perine , Ty Johnson and Pete Guerriero.
Adams had 29 carries, 157 yards (5.4 avg) and two touchdowns in the 2020 season. He also added six catches for 29 yards.
Jets beat reporter Connor Hughes of The Athletic views Adams as an ideal fit in the scheme for new offensive coordinator, Mike LaFleur.
